You’ll provide high-quality trauma-informed practice advice and guidance to our Therapeutic Residential Services in Hampton and Dandenong, through coaching, role-modelling, and supporting staff with the application of Uniting’s Therapeutic Model of Care.
As a key care team member, you’ll conduct therapeutic assessments and develop therapeutic plans and practice advice that promote the needs of young people residing in residential care.
You will also lead reflective practice sessions with staff to problem-solve and collaboratively develop strategies and approaches that optimise young people’s healing and progress towards desired outcomes.
It’s a full-time role until 30 June 2025. We can also consider a 9-day fortnight or four days per week if that works better for you.
We’ll support you in your role with access to monthly group supervision sessions, networking opportunities and access to mentoring and clinical supervision.
In addition to your base hourly rate of $62.23 and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits, which can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.
You are at your best providing in-the-home coaching, role-modelling, practical advice and therapeutic guidance to staff working with young people presenting with complex needs.
