We deliver services across the ACT covering children, families, young people and seniors including disability, housing and mental health services.

We are seeking a committed and inspiring Family Case Manager to join our Case Management team. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team to provide required support to vulnerable children, young people and families with flexible and responsive, person-centred case management and early intervention programs.

Our Offer

  • Fixed term, full-time appointment up to 30 June 2025.
  • Salary of WCS 6 $94,160.83 - $98,422.85 p.a. depending on qualifications and experience, plus 11% Superannuation.
  • Salary packaging (up to $15,899 per year) plus meal and entertainment cards.
  • 15 days paid personal leave per annum (pro rata) for full & part-time employees.
  • Paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience working with children, young people and their families through case work, referrals, case management and outreach.
  • Demonstrated ability to use person centred approaches to develop and implement support and service offerings for individuals.
  • Ability to establish and maintain service networks, make and receive referrals and work collaboratively with others.
  • Demonstrated communication techniques that engender positive relationships and influence stakeholders effectively to resolve functional issues.
  • Demonstrated professional competence and sensitivity in intake processes, needs assessment and referrals in supporting service users.
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and written skills to ensure case notes, client’s records and documentation are completed accurately in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, or other related field, and/or relevant experience are highly desirable.
