Woden Community Service (WCS) is a for-purpose organisation that has been providing community-based services for over 50 years. As an established organisation, our vision of providing ‘A caring community where everyone belongs.’ is achieved through our values of inclusion, compassion, hope, responsiveness, integrity, and social justice.
Our new allied health service launched recently, and we are seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with our Senior Therapists in growing and developing a quality service for the community. We offer individual and group assessment and therapy for children up to 12 years, in various settings, both fee for service and for NDIS participants, as well as professional learning in education settings.
Functional outcomes are the focus of our support. We work closely with families to establish goals and monitor progress. We use evidence to inform the frequency and length of sessions and the intervention period.
There is future scope to branch services into mental health, adult or aged care based on your experience, special interests or goals for professional growth.
We are currently operating speech pathology services, providing further opportunities to work inter-professionally with allied health colleagues.
As you support the community, we support you!
