The Role

The Quality & Practice Manager will champion quality and best practice service by leading the implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) and the development of practice and program management, including:

  • Ensuring QMS processes and systems are effective.
  • Measuring and reporting QMS process and system effectiveness.
  • The design and development of engaging life skills programs and resources.
  • Developing management capability to deliver safe, effective and compliant services.

Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality, or relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership effectiveness – communication, consultation, problem solving, critical thinking, negotiation, and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated success in the evaluation, development, and implementation of policies, procedures and systems related to quality and practice service delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance processes, continuous quality improvement principles, program logic and practice governance.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience working with and supporting quality in the human services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience developing learning material and programs.
  • Quality auditing and/or assurance qualifications and/or experience.
  • Understanding and experience working with compliance requirements of:
    • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
    • NDIS Practice Standards for National Disability Insurance Scheme.
    • ACECQA National Quality Framework for Early Learning Centre.
