About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial professional to lead and oversee the financial operations of our clinic. The Clinic Financial Operations Lead is a true “hands-on” operational opportunity for a talented and experienced individual with experience in finance or accounting. You will play a vital role in managing our financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our Clinic Managers to ensure financial sustainability of our world-leading specialist medical clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Monitor and report on clinic activity to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Analysis of P&L performance
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure financial excellence
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports
  • Oversee Medicare-related activities and payments

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent
  • Broad knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and billing processes
  • Strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Experience in budget preparation and forecasting
  • Experience in the analysis of P&L performance
  • Sound skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
