About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial professional to lead and oversee the financial operations of our clinic. The Clinic Financial Operations Lead is a true “hands-on” opportunity for a talented and experienced individual with experience in finance, bookkeeping or accounting. You will play a vital role in managing our financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our Clinic Managers to ensure financial sustainability of our world-leading medical clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Monitor and report on clinic activity to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure financial excellence
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports
  • Oversee Medicare-related activities and payments

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Diploma of Accounting or equivalent
  • Broad knowledge of finance, bookkeeping, and billing processes
  • Demonstrated experience in financial strategy and planning
  • Demonstrated experience in financial performance and revenue maximisation
  • Strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think broadly, improve processes, and manage competing priorities
  • Willing to learn and be open to tasks at varying levels
  • Sound skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A working understanding of the not-for-profit sector
