Key duties in this role include:

  • Promote, organise and manage WIO’s fee-for-service professional learning, including Silver Rainbow - LGBTI Aged Care Awareness Training.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support to ongoing and potential clients regarding WIO’s standard training products and negotiate and adapt training for tailored requests.
  • Liaise with WIO team members to allocate standard and tailored training delivery as appropriate
  • Deliver training as required.
  • Manage quotes, and invoicing of WIO’s fee-for-service training.
  • Monitor, deliver and report on program KPIs (key performance indicators) in relation to training.
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager, Learning & Programs to develop WIO’s training and professional learning products and services.
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with WIO team members across the state.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings which are held by teleconference and face-to-face.
  • Other activities as negotiated.

We are looking for someone who, amongst other things:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the lived experience of Tasmanians of diverse bodies, gender, sexuality and relationships, and their families, friends, carers and communities.
  • Experience in developing and/or delivering workplace training/professional learning.
  • Ability to assign and support trainers to deliver training.
  • Experience in program promotion and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent IT, time management and organisational skills.
  • High level of written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team, and to maintain one’s own self-care.
