WorkSafe ACT is growing our inspectorate team and we are looking for passionate, committed individuals who are ready to play a key role in making sure that all workers, in all workplaces are healthy and safe.
We have several permanent Senior Inspector positions available as part of our current recruitment campaign. The Inspectorate is responsible for providing compliance and enforcement services across workplaces in the ACT and Jervis Bay Territory.

We achieve our objectives through a combination of compliance and enforcement, awareness raising, education, inspection, and investigation activities. We are responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance by duty holders in accordance with the WHS Act and Regulation and associated legislation for Dangerous Substances, Workers’ Compensation and Labour Hire Licensing. Selection may be based on written application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool may be established form this selection process and may be used to fill identical vacancies over the next 12 months
