We are a Christian aid and development organisation which embraces God’s mission to help and love those in need, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalised. We empower the outcast and forgotten through education and training, so they can have hope for the future.

We work through local Christian partnerships in Africa and Asia to bring lasting change to communities; particularly to vulnerable children, disempowered women and those excluded from their communities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Child Sponsorship plays a key role in helping our supporters and the children we support and their families to connect. The purpose of this role is to facilitate a positive sponsor relationship and be the vital link between supporters and the communities we support. This role will work closely with our partner organisations overseas as they implement child sponsorship processes.

This role will support the effective administration of WorldShare’s international projects, contributing to the success of our international projects and the critical impact made for children and communities in need.

For the right candidate there may be opportunity to gain partnership management experience.

  • You are passionate about the role and mission of Christian aid and development and in caring for the vulnerable around the world.
  • You are a details person who loves working with people from different countries and cultures to make an impact on the lives of children and their families around the world.
  • You love using software and digital platforms to keep things in order and maintain good data and get excited about finding ways to improve systems. Even more so you love explaining information management to other people and getting them excited about them too.
  • You are passionate about empowering children and their families in developing countries and you love sharing this passion with others.
  • You have experience communicating in a cross-cultural setting.
  • You possess integrity, excellent communication skills and are highly organised.
  • You enjoy being part of an innovative work environment and are an excellent team player.
