About the Role

The Website Manager leads the planning, design, publishing and maintenance of WWF-Australia's websites to deliver an engaging user experience and drive growth. The role provides expert web management advice and is responsible for driving traffic to and optimising conversions for WWF-Australia's websites and enhancing audience engagement that supports WWF-Australia's engagement, acquisition, fundraising and conservation projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leads the planning, design, publishing and maintenance of the WWF-Australia and Earth Hour Australia websites and other platforms, including but not limited to, Contentful, Cloudinary, Shopify and Funraisin.
  • Works jointly with internal and external stakeholders to lead the development and implementation of an integrated website traffic growth and conversion strategy to build and mobilise our community of millions-strong supporters; and regularly reports on lead indicators.
  • Monitors, identifies, reports on and delivers on actionable insights based off website performance, behavioural data and site analytics to build and implement strategies for optimised website UX and content development that support WWF-Australia's growth goals and strategies.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience curating and publishing content to a Content Management System (CMS) such as Contentful and Digital Asset Management software (DAMS) such as Cloudinary.
  • A proven track record of driving growth strategies for increasing web traffic and acquiring leads via a website.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and optimising an e-commerce platform to drive sales.
