• Community Based Preschool & Long Day Care
• Full time 38 hours per week (flexible)
• $36.74 - $50.83 Hourly rate + Director's Allowance + Educational Leader's Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Lead, inspire, and support a team of dedicated educators.
• Foster strong relationships with families and the community.
• Develop and implement high quality educational programs in line with EYLF and NQS, as well as mentoring and coaching educators and teachers.
• Lead the service in its commitment to self-assessment and quality improvement.
• Report to Board of Management in the secretary position.

We're Looking For:

• ACECQA approved Bachelor’s Degree (Early Education) with NESA accreditation.
• Valid working with children check.
• Criminal History Check.
• Completed approved child protection training
• Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma management training.
• Proven experience in a management and leadership role within an early education and care setting. Preference given to Community Based ECEC.
• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant childcare laws and regulations.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• Experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues.
• Flexibility with the ability to prioritise and carry out a variety of roles within the service including relief in the classrooms at times.
