Your genuine passion for helping others and making a difference to our resident’s quality of life will be evident in everything you do, as will your ability to empathise and put yourself in their shoes. You will take pride in the quality of support you provide while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the home.

Duties include but not limited to

• The ability to work as part of a tight knit team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings
• Provide individualised personal care e.g. showering, dressing, grooming and toileting as per recipient care plan
• Support the interests, needs and rights of the care recipient
• Provide physical assistance for the care recipient as per the care plan
• Maintain effective communication with both the care recipient and management
• Demonstrate respect for rights, confidentiality, independence and dignity of residents and their family
• Demonstrate commitment to safety through personal example, leadership and participation in safety initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Police Clearance
• Drivers Licence
• NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain
