YFS is expanding our team, so we are looking for a Domestic and Family Violence Case Manager to join our dedicated domestic violence team servicing Scenic Rim, Jimboomba and surrounding areas.

In this role, you will walk alongside women experiencing domestic and family violence, abuse, and coercive control, working to enhance their safety and well-being through case management and education. As the Domestic and Family Violence Case Manager, you will resource women to thrive in a future free of violence and abuse.

About the job

Role location: Jimboomba – our Jimboomba office is only 40 minutes from Logan and Springfield and a one hour drive from the Gold Coast

Role type: Permanent full-time, 9-day fortnight.

Pay range: $97,689 to $102,114 a year, based on experience, with salary sacrificing available.

In this role you will provide case management to address the safety and wellbeing of victim-survivors of domestic and family violence including:

  • on-going assessments of lethality and risk
  • developing, implementing, and reviewing safety plans
  • assessing the needs of women and children
  • providing information and facilitating access to resources to address health, parenting, financial, employment support, legal, and other counselling needs
  • ongoing specialist case work and advocacy to resource women in their future including EVP, Victims Assist applications, Victims Register, relevant support letters etc.
  • working alongside the client, develop goals to increase safety and recover from domestic and family violence.

About you
