Program Manager - Mobile Support

We are looking for a Program Manager to play a key role in leading the mobile support program for young people, adults and families who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness and require intensive support to access housing and to prepare and sustain their tenancies.

If you’re an experienced manager with strong leadership and communication skills, and are flexible and quick to adapt to change, this could be the role for you.

Role location: Slacks Creek

Role type: Permanent full time position

Pay range: $115,433 a year based on experience, with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax available

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of housing specialists.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the changing landscape of homelessness in Logan.
  • Identify and promptly address problems to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Recommend and implement updates to work practices and procedures based on external requirements.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to service delivery in the context of homelessness.
  • Contribute to developing the team's capacity for quality service delivery.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and effectively manage staff.

About you

  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in in the homelessness and housing sectors
  • Understand the causes, impacts and cultural aspects of homelessness
  • Can work with a sense of urgency and are quick to adapt to change
  • Have great interpersonal skills and can manage, develop and support staff
  • Are a strong communicator with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people within and outside the organisation
  • Are confident in undertaking service planning and making recommendations regarding improvements to service delivery.
