We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Partnerships Officer to join our team.

You will lead fundraising and business development efforts to diversify and strengthen income supporting the delivery of our work.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to develop & implement partnerships, grants, fundraising & business development initiatives.

With a focus on community fundraising, grants, philanthropic relationships, trusts and foundations, together with identifying (and securing) opportunity for partnerships with corporate and government.

We are a small, purposeful team, driven by a passion to build a brighter future for the young people in our care.

This hands-on role will require your creativity and resourcefulness to explore and diversify income streams including regular giving and community fundraising while identifying strategic opportunities to expand our reach and impact through business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy
  • Identify, research, and cultivate potential funders and partners
  • Prepare compelling grant proposals and reports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends
  • Contribute to the development of business plans and growth strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a commitment to social impact. The successful candidate will possess:

  • A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for improving education outcomes for young people
  • Experience in Not-For-Profit fundraising, business development, or relationship management
  • Experience in preparing grant applications and liaising with providers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and self-management skills
  • Eligibility for a WWC check
  • A good understanding of MS Office and CRM products and tools
