We welcome applications that demonstrate these skills and criteria, whether that be in a professional or volunteer capacity, or through lived experience.
Working at yLead is more than just a job. It is the feeling of knowing that you belong to a community, hundreds strong, that believe in empowering young people to make their world a better place! Right now, the world needs great leaders, and at yLead we play a part in skilling kind, compassionate, capable and confident leaders for the future. Each experience we offer provides young people with the opportunity to recognise the impact they have and give them a chance to discover who they are at their best. In turn, you will find there is opportunity for you to do the same.
At yLead we work hard; our impact allows us to be a part of something that is bigger than ourselves. You will work alongside an inspiring team that makes a real difference to the lives of young people (and perhaps have a sneaky game of ping pong or office golf along the way)!
Our values are at the heart of our everyday interactions and form the foundation to our work ethic and culture. The five values are: Be Better Tomorrow Than You Are Today, Give 100%, Set the Standard, Shine and Together Has Power.
If you haven’t heard of who we are and what we do, take a look at the video below featuring our favourite calendar event – The Australian Student Leadership Conference (ASLC). The conference is delivered annually in four unique locations and that has a brother program in New Zealand – Rangatira.
