The yLead Team are looking for a charismatic, passionate and well-presented young professional to join our team! Be excited to spend your days working alongside committed and passionate co-workers that create inclusive, welcoming, and engaging experiences, not just out in the field, but in house as well.

We are currently looking for someone to join our IMPACT team that travels to schools across Australia and New Zealand to deliver our experiences, whilst finding new and exciting ways to engage young people to help them discover their own leadership potential.

IS IT YOU WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

Our next IMPACT team superstar will be somebody with:

  • An active interest in working with young people to help them better understand themselves, their peers and the ways they can have a positive impact in the world.
  • Excitement to learn and grow in the art of yLead facilitation and have experience presenting, facilitating, sharing stories and/or mentoring young people.
  • Positive vibes - a people person who is empathetic to the issues facing young people
  • The ability to collaborate in a purpose driven and fast-paced, small team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Outstanding communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Unique skills that will be an asset to our team (e.g. content creation, video editing, knowledge of positive psychology, Australian curriculum, or copywriting skills).
  • A current driver’s license (access to a car is preferred but not required)

As a member of our IMPACT team, your role will be to:

  • Have positive and uplifting interactions with the yLead Team, schools, clients, volunteers and contractors
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive experiences for young people (9 - 18 years of age)
  • Hold and create space for inclusive and courageous conversations
  • Evolve existing experiences, workshops, stories, and sessions alongside other IMPACT team members
  • Actively practise the tools and skills that are delivered
  • Collaborate and prepare for world-class events
  • Book flights, cars, and accommodation to coincide with your experience travel plans
