About the Dietitian role

Join a passionate and experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing health and wellbeing for all. Collaborate with clients, carers, and community groups while managing a diverse caseload of paediatric and adult clients. Build and implement tailored nutrition interventions and contribute to the development of dynamic, evidence-based programs that address community needs.

This is a fixed term Grade 2 Dietitian role reporting to the Dietetics, Diabetes Education, and Community Nursing Coordinator, available at up to 1.0 FTE from January 2025 to December 2025. We are excited to fill this position and are open to hiring multiple candidates, offering part-time options across both paediatric and adult caseloads.

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Deliver high-quality nutrition assessments and interventions, ensuring each client receives personalised care tailored to their unique needs and circumstances
  • Apply health coaching and motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients, helping them to set and achieve their health goals while fostering a supportive and encouraging environment
  • Develop and evaluate evidence-based nutrition programs that address community health challenges, ensuring services are relevant and responsive to the needs of diverse populations
  • Manage a varied dietetics caseload across multiple funding streams, effectively coordinating care to meet targets and optimise health outcomes for all clients
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, person-centred service, working alongside healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families throughout their health journey

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Recognised qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
  • Experience in community-based dietetic care
  • The ability to work with diverse client groups and conditions
  • A Strong commitment to client-centred, preventive health approaches
