At yourtown, we believe every young person has the right to a brighter future and aim to be part of the solution by delivering services that get results. Our services include Kids Helpline, training and employment services, parent education and specialist accommodation for families. At yourtown you will be part of the solution.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to manage our Family Support Services Programs in Brisbane. As our Family Support Services Manager, you will oversee a number of teams who deliver a diverse range of programs that enhance the lives of children and families and strengthen the community across the Moreton and Kingston regions.
We deliver a range of programs including Mental Health Counselling, Clinical and Psychosocial supports; a Young Parents Program; Communities for Children; Expressive Therapy and an Art program. These programs are a mix of internally and externally funded and include therapeutic services, case management, parenting/family supports, and community development. We pride ourselves on being able to provide place based, flexible services that reduce the barriers to access for our community.
Our programs are delivered from our beautiful, purpose-built child and family hub at Deception Bay where families and the community can come together, and our Kingston hub that offers a wide range of yourtown services. Our programs also provide outreach support in locations such as schools, family homes and community settings, to ensure our support is tailored for the needs of the children, families and community partners that we work with.
This position offers a dynamic and diverse workload where no two days are the same – you will be working at the strategic level with senior stakeholders one moment and then in the next engaging with your teams or working directly with the community.
This is a full-time, 12 month fixed-term opportunity located in Deception Bay.
A position description is attached.
If you are looking for an opportunity where you can be innovative, drive change and have a positive impact on the lives of children, young people and families, we would love to hear from you.
