We are looking for a Senior Practice Supervisor to work with our family residential service in North Richmond, NSW. Based in an idyllic rural setting, the San Miguel service provides intensive, individualised support to vulnerable young parents and their children. San Miguel is a unique service that plays a critical role in keeping children safe and well and keeping young families together. Parents and children receive support from a multi-disciplinary team through a combination of on-site and community based interventions that ensure children are engaged in safe, developmentally appropriate activities and their parents are supported to set and pursue family and personal goals.
As Senior Practice Supervisor you will provide professional practice supervision, specialist advice and expert knowledge of best practice in client service delivery. You will work with yourtown staff delivering direct client services to assist them to work within our Client Practice Framework and support the development of case management and risk assessment skills.
The scope of work includes individual, team and group supervision; contributing to programs and services through providing specialist advice; providing a professional consultancy and support role to crisis response and critical incidents; ongoing case reviews; facilitating training; and promoting and contributing to culturally sensitive, child, youth and family centred, safe practices. You will work primarily with our San Miguel service but may also have a caseload of Kids Helpline Counsellors and client delivery staff working across our other programs in NSW.
