We offer crisis accommodation and housing services, alternative high school education, alcohol and other drugs counselling, youth justice support, life skills and employment programs, cultural support and community engagement, among other services. We focus on early interventions that empower young people and strengthen communities.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, this position is responsible for end-to-end campaign management and execution of YOTS Giving Day campaign. This position may also be required to support the Head of Fundraising and fundraising team with other activities and tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Be the main point of contact with the Giving Day agency effectively planned, managed, and executed to maximise donations and engagement.
  • Team Leadership. Lead and motivate the YOTS project team to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a YOTS Product/Campaign strategy including RACI, campaign objectives, timelines, audience insights, fundraising and communication strategies. Develop a post-campaign report capturing insights from a project team retro.
  • Planning and Execution: Execute the Giving Day campaign efficiently and effectively to maximise ROI, achieve Product/Campaign strategy deliverables, work with the agency to meet deadlines. Oversee the event day including all logistics and volunteer management.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Rally and collaborate with internal teams (Fundraising, Marcomms, IT, P&C, Risk & Compliance, Services teams etc), external partners, and community stakeholders to maximise the impact of the campaign and strengthen fundraising efforts.
  • Donor Engagement: Ensure donors, supporters, and partners are effectively engaged to encourage participation, and secure donations.
  • Fundraising Platforms: Oversee online fundraising platforms and tools to facilitate donations, track campaign progress, and provide donor support.
  • Marketing and Coordination: Coordinate marketing and communication efforts to promote the campaign through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support Giving Day activities, outreach efforts, and donor stewardship.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse donation data, track campaign performance metrics, and prepare reports to evaluate the success of Giving Day campaigns.
  • Donor Stewardship: Implement donor stewardship strategies to acknowledge donors, cultivate relationships, and encourage continued support beyond Giving Day.
  • Technology and Innovation: Recommend fundraising technologies and trends to optimise the campaign, enhance donor experience, and drive fundraising results.

Skills, Abilities and Knowledge required:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering a Giving Day campaign and/or demonstrated experience in a fundraising events, campaign, or project management role.
  • Highly organised, with exceptional planning, project, and time management skills to achieve objectives or complete projects.
  • Ability to influence and engage diverse project teams, prioritise requests and manage competing demands and set work priorities to meet deadlines.
  • A strong sense of initiative and ability to thrive under the pressure, staying motivated, and on task.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with both internal staff and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with community fundraising / peer to peer fundraising platforms.
  • Strong computer and administrative skills (familiarity with databases).
  • Impeccable personal standards in representing YOTS.

Qualification & Experience

  • Marketing or Communication Degree or relevant work experience.
  • 4 years + in a related field
