THE ROLE:

Working alongside our Business Development Administrator, the primary focus of this role is to provide project and administrative services that support the national delivery of GADAus’ online and in-person training programs.

This includes coordinating training dates, developing promotional materials, managing participant registrations, booking venues and catering, arranging travel and other logistics, and communicating regularly, responsively and professionally with our training participants and trainers.

Importantly, this role also includes maintaining compliance with GADAus’ funding agreement/s through the collection, management, entry and reporting of participant data.

THE CANDIDATE:

GADAus is seeking a skilled and experienced administrator, with the capacity to manage complex procedures efficiently while maintaining a very high level of detail and accuracy. The successful candidate will be trained by GADAus in the specifics of the Training Administrator role, but will bring a high level of existing administrative skill and knowledge, exceptional multi-tasking skills, the ability to adapt to changing arrangements and priorities, and excellent communication skills. A high-degree of technical proficiency, including strong skills in Excel, Word, database use/management, and web-based applications/platforms will be highly regarded.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Extensive experience (minimum of 5 years) and highly developed skills in administration and/or project coordination.
  • Very high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to collate, track, record, compile, and report data correctly.
  • High level of technical proficiency, including strong skills in Excel, Word, database management, and web-based applications/platforms.
  • Experience with, and understanding of, contractual compliance and reporting, with the ability to execute these tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and professionally to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, and to adapt work skills/practices for a remote organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency through the identification and implementation of administrative and procedural improvements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to women’s health, diversity inclusion, and social justice; and to GADAus’ vision, intent, purpose and values which incorporates a gendered perspective within a feminist framework.
  • An understanding of the political environment, and of current issues in gender, disaster and emergency management, violence against women, primary prevention, and health promotion.

Desirable

  • Experience with Salesforce (and/or other CRM/s).
  • Experience with Eventbrite (and/or other event booking platforms).

12. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.

THE OFFER:

The GADAus Training Administrator is a part-time position, 0.5FTE (19 hours per week) offered as an initial one (1) year contract.

The position is remunerated at a highly competitive rate of $57,121 (plus the designated rate of superannuation) per annum, for 19 hours per week (full-time salary equivalent of $114,243 plus super). The position includes 4 weeks holiday and leave loading, and an additional (3) days leave between Christmas and New Year.

GADAus is based in Victoria but does not maintain a physical office space. Permanent remote working arrangements are in place for all staff.
