Located in the heart of Melbourne’s hospital and health precinct in North Melbourne, Lort Smith has a significant 80 year history having grown from humble beginnings. The OHS & Facilities Manager will lead and facilitate compliance with OHS guidelines and provide a safe workplace according to legal standards as well as ensure efficient and effective management of assets, resources and suppliers.
The main component of this position is a leadership role in all things OHS. The role will focus on legislative compliance, leading projects and implementing continuing development of OHS and associated programs.
The role will work closely with key stakeholders to identify hazards, ensure organisational compliance, recommend, and implement cost-effective solutions, as well as advise on and implement relevant OH&S and Facilities related policies, procedures and best practice.
This role presents an opportunity to play a key part in contributing to Lort Smith’s stay and grow strategy through input into the construction of the new site and refurbishment of current site.
