About the organisation

Established in 2018, the Man Cave is a preventative mental health and emotional intelligence organisation working to create a world in which young men have safe and thriving relationships with themselves and others, improving youth mental health and reducing the rates of suicide and gender-based violence. The organisation works with schools to deliver transformational workshops for teenage boys, teacher training, and parent/teacher keynote presentations exploring healthy masculinity, positive mental health and respectful relationships.

Comprising of around 55 diverse staff, the majority of whom are facilitators, they are guided by the mission of empowering boys by providing them and their communities with the tools, role models and resources, to become great men. About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager will be a key member of the leadership team contributing to the overall strategy and impact of the organisation. The GM will lead, manage and support across key areas of strategy; governance, risk and compliance; financial management; child safety and policies; people and culture; IT systems and processes; and facility management.

About you

A proven leader with experience in a broad range of operations across charitable / NFP organisations. Commercially astute, you are confident in providing financial insight in the boardroom and you are passionate about delivering positive outcomes. You have a strategic approach to people, policies, and governance, and can identify effective solutions to complex problems.
