The Salvation Army Karratha Women's Refuge is a refuge which provides short term crisis accommodation for women with or without children who are escaping Family & Domestic Violence and or other crisis. At any one time the KWR accommodates up to 4 families of women with/out children.
The position of Family Support Worker will work with women and children affected by family and domestic violence and/or other crisis. They may present with other intersecting support needs which may include grief, trauma, mental health, substance misuse, parenting and independent living skills.

This is a full time position, 38 hours per week fixed term to 30 December 2020.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS award 2010, Community Services Stream, Level 4.
