ABOUT US

Women’s Property Initiatives (WPI) is a community housing organisation established in 1996 by women for women. WPI provides long-term safe, secure, affordable housing to women experiencing disadvantage across the Greater Melbourne Area.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Asset Manager who will be responsible for the specialist expertise and management of WPI’s housing property assets, social procurement, and contractor management. This includes cyclical, and planned maintenance. This is an exciting new role reporting directly to the CEO and is part of the Leadership Team.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Post-trade Certificate IV and / or at least five years’ experience in strategic property asset management, with a community housing provider is beneficial but not essential.
  • Alignment to WPI’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels based on trust and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and developing employees to build capability.
  • Ability to support change and innovation and deliver creative and leading practice solutions with sound working knowledge of project management techniques, and delivery of capital projects.
  • Articulate, concise and tailored communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Adapts well to and can lead, drive, and advocate change in an organisation.
  • Demonstrate maturity, insight, flexibility, initiative and have the capacity to willingly engage with people to build rapport and trust.
