AFL SportsReady’s head office is based in Melbourne, with satellite offices based in Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, and Sydney.
This is a hybrid role, involving a balance between working from the office, conducting site visits, and working from home. We believe in-person connections are crucial, and we strive for a strong balanced between working from home and being on-site. We are open to discussion on how this arrangement could work for candidates not based in Hobart.
As a general guideline, our current approach for full-time staff nationwide involves a minimum of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Any necessary adjustments on a week-to-week basis are managed between the individual and their leader. However, more significant changes require approval through a flexible work request. We welcome discussions with interested candidates regarding this flexibility.
Our preference is for individuals to be based in or around Hobart, or the North-West Coast area. If you have any enquiries about how this could work or if you would like to set up a phone call to discuss your current situation, please send a query to [email protected] using the subject line: Field Officer - Hobart enquiry via EthicalJobs. We are open to addressing your questions and exploring how we can make suitable arrangements.
The successful applicant will play an important part in helping young people commence their career journey, to settle into a workplace, and to provide employment coaching along the way. You will provide employment support to a case load of trainees, who are primarily recent school leavers undertaking traineeships.
This is a part-time (3 day per week) position, however we are open to exploring other potential arrangements.
The successful applicant will undertake metropolitan travel in Hobart as well as some regional travel across the State. Travel to AFL SportsReady's head office in Melbourne is infrequent but may be required for specific events such as onboarding, employee conferences or celebration of other significant company events. Please reach out if you would like to discuss any travel requirements.
