The opportunity

Our newly centralised People and Culture team has been created with best practice and innovation in mind. Two new full-time positions (Part time considered) have been created which present an exciting opportunity, for experienced auditors to make these roles your own. Based in Fortitude Valley, you will play a key role in the “Workforce Quality Assurance, Safeguarding & Risk” centre of excellence, which provides specialist and strategic advice for workforce quality management, systems and risk mitigation. The Workforce Quality Assurance & Improvement Lead will:

  • implement the Workforce Quality Assurance, Safeguarding & Risk framework (to be developed) with a focus on Anglicare’s human resource (HR) management function including compliance, operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • work with P&C Centres of Expertise (CoEs) to promote and support the application of risk management principles and practices
  • Develop, schedule, and conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to legal requirements and best practice human resource management
  • work with our services to ensure best practice and processes are being followed
  • works in partnership with the Enterprise Risk Office to ensure consistency of practice.

About you

  • Significant experience in Quality Assurance & Risk Management
  • Credible, professional leadership in quality assurance and risk management with ability to apply it to the organisation’s HR function
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing best practice quality management systems with ability to understand the human resource management function – its application for employee well-being, workforce assurance and legal compliance
  • Experienced with application of integrated risk management frameworks
  • Systems and critical thinker with demonstrated analytical skills
  • Track record of delivering systemic continuous improvement
  • Proven consulting, facilitation, and advisory skills
  • Proven experience with quality/risk/safety information systems/information management systems
  • Credible, engaging communicator and highly effective report writer.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health or Safety Management or a related discipline (desired)
  • Quality Auditing Certification or similar (desired)
