About the role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this role provides high level operational support and HR advice as well as leading the People & Culture functions across Aurora. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for 1 direct report.
Key responsibilities
The People & Culture Leader is responsible for assisting in the delivery of the following HR functions:
- Employee Relations & HRIS
- Engagement
- Recruitment
- Work Health & Safety
- Performance Management - Support the P&C Manager with the delivery of development plans
- Culture & Wellbeing
- Learning & Development
Selection Criteria
- Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field
- Demonstrated experience leading a small HR team, preferably within the NFP sector
- Excellent ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational, task and time management skills
- Ability to respond positively to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
Other Requirements
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check.
- Satisfactory national police check.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
