We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate leader to support and guide our dedicated AOD team in delivering essential services to the Ballarat community.

In this key role, you’ll work closely with the Manager of AOD to ensure exceptional service delivery, contribute to program development and provide supervision and mentoring to the team. You may also hold a small client caseload when needed.

Your role and impact

As our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Team Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of building a high-performing team that supports individuals, health professionals, schools, and external agencies across Ballarat.

Your leadership will make a difference by:

  • Coaching and supporting your team to grow and reach their potential.
  • Working closely with the Manager of AOD to coordinate and continuously improve services.
  • Driving quality improvements and identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Holding a client caseload when needed, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Delegating tasks effectively and keeping the AOD Manager updated on team successes and challenges.
  • Leading service delivery and projects to achieve funded program outcomes.
  • Providing strategic direction for your team and contributing to broader team goals.
  • Staying informed about sector trends and funding reforms to keep us ahead of the curve.
