About the Role

As the Fundraising Specialist - Individual Giving, you will have the opportunity to drive the design and execution of the WomenCan Individual Giving portfolio.

Your main goal will be to cultivate and strengthen relationships with leads, supporters, donors, bequestors, and ANZGOG members to generate income aligned with the WomanCan strategic objectives and targets, ultimately enhancing the social standing in the communities they serve.

This data-driven role is perfect for a hungry fundraiser looking to own the development of multi-channel individual giving programs. This role is joining a small, collaborative team and requires the successful candidate to be hands on and demonstrate a data-driven mindset. You will need to thrive in a deadline driven role, project managing external stakeholders and agencies to execute campaigns in timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for individual giving programs to maximise growth and revenue.
  • Lead and steward relationships with all leads, supporters, donors, bequestors, and ANZGOG members.
  • Project manage campaigns end to end, ensuring deadlines are met, and post campaign reviews are completed.
  • Provide donor support, including welcome, retention, upgrade journeys, engagement communications, and managing declines.
  • Collaborate closely with the Community Engagement Program Team and Communications Team to identify and support opportunities within the network to develop giving opportunities and ensure all communications are on brand.
  • Develop and own an ongoing journey for regular donors to maximise retention and increase individual donations.
  • Proactively manage supplier and agency support including design, mail house, digital etc
  • Deliver exemplary donor care to donors up to and including mid-level donors.
  • Ensure a data-driven approach is in place for decision making, with emphasis on segmentation models, donor journeys and data integrity.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in individual giving, direct marketing, campaign development.
  • A proven track record and success in developing multi-channel appeals to acquire new donors and retain existing donors.
  • Stakeholder and supplier management, ensuring each campaign is delivered to approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing, testing, and implementing effective direct marketing programs, new product developments, fundraising techniques, and resources.
  • Strong time management skills with the proven ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Experience in managing budgets, project expenditure and delivering organisational outcomes.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of and experience with CRM databases and data analysis.
