About The Australasian Menopause Society

The Australasian Menopause Society (AMS) is the peak body for menopause and women’s midlife health in Australia and New Zealand. The AMS is a member-based, not-for-profit charity of nearly 1000 health professionals, who each have a special interest in women’s midlife health, menopause and the promotion of healthy ageing. The aim of AMS is the advancement of knowledge about menopause, and our mission is to improve the quality of life of women during and after menopause. The AMS is an evidence-based and trusted source of information on menopause and midlife women’s health for health professionals and consumers. AMS provides face to face and virtual education to health professionals, in the workplace and in the community.

This is a great opportunity for a high calibre Policy and Communications Officer who is keen to be a part of a small but busy team. It would suit someone who is keen to understand all aspects of a values-based, not-for-profit membership organisation, while working on diverse tasks and engaging with a variety of stakeholders. If you are passionate about women's health issues and be a part of improving the quality of life of women during and after menopause this is the right role for you!
