About this Position

The Business Analyst, Be You supports the digital stream of Be You through the development and delivery of Be You’s product roadmaps.

The role

This role will work within the product team to define activities by gathering technical and non-technical information, detailing requirements, inputting to the solution design process, assessing impact of change and ensuring that the designed solution meets documented requirements. The key duties include:

  • Support the development and implementation of the Be You Digital strategy and activity plan in alignment with the Beyond Blue Digital Strategy.
  • Support the Digital Product Lead to develop and deliver the Be You digital roadmaps.
  • Work across Be You and Beyond Blue to gather, validate and document requirements, model and analyse data and business process to define current state, target states and scope activity across BAU, CI and projects.
  • Analyse proposed solutions to identify potential issues, risks, benefits and conduct change impact assessments.
  • Work with vendors and across teams to create functional specifications for solutions.
  • Simplify information for teams by translating technical documentation into plain language.
  • Support in the implementation and testing of solutions assuring quality standards and requirements have been met.
  • Demonstrate a culture of continuous improvement by using insights, data, research, and analysis to optimise existing data solutions.
  • Provide high quality written documents including briefing notes, preparation of contracts and agreements, and project management documentation; provide input into the development of key reports, including Board reports, Beyond Blue external reporting and ad hoc reports as required.
  • Ensure project management activities (including management of function budget) are implemented in accordance with Beyond Blue processes and systems and are in line with company policy and program governance.

About you

To be successful you will hold:

  • Tertiary qualification in business, project management or related field of study OR, equivalent experience in Business Systems Analyst / IT Business Analyst
  • Experience in planning, conducting and documenting the outcomes from data gathering employing elicitation techniques including facilitated workshops, meetings, document review, survey, questionnaires
  • Experience in requirements documentation, analysis, and management
  • Competent in business case development, including supporting cost/benefit models
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Proficient in the use of JIRA, Confluence, Miro and Visio
