About the role:

Anglicare is seeking a permanent, full time Learning & Leadership Development Consultant to join our Learning and Development team. Although this role is based in Norwest (moving to Macquarie Park beginning of 2025) you will be travelling across Anglicare sites to enable Anglicare staff to do the best work of their lives.

You will be designing, facilitating and evaluating core Anglicare learning and leadership development experiences for staff that empower for excellence, are fit for purpose, help make work simple and enable our staff to work for purpose in ways that reflect Anglicare’s Vision, Mission and Values and enable Anglicare to become a high performing Christian organisation. 

As a Learning & Leadership Development Consultant, you will (not limited to): 

  • Face-to-face workshops and virtual training delivery for Anglicare wide learning (such as staff induction or leadership development)  
  • Analyse the effectiveness of training and workshops to the employees and develop appropriate modification if needed 
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees  
  • Designing Anglicare-wide learning experiences that deliver desired learning outcomes for our staff, including induction and leadership workshops, mandatory training, and management development as per business needs 
  • Designing and developing effective and engaging digital solutions that enable transfer of the required skills, lift capability, add business value, and help make our mission a reality 
  • Ensure learning materials are uploaded and maintained on Learning Management System 

About You:

  • Demonstrated facilitation skills across multiple levels of leadership 
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to develop and facilitate learning and leadership programs and workshops 
  • High level of communication, relationship management and influencing skills 
  • Design capability in digital learning (experience in Articulate Storyline, Microsoft PPT, & Adobe Captivate is desirable) 
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud product suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is desirable 
  • Demonstrated coaching abilities (individual and group)  
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Learning and / or Leadership Development, Training or equivalent 
  • 5+ years in Learning and/or Leadership Development roles with demonstrated facilitation, design and development experience (including face-to-face, virtual, and e-learning development) 
  • Current NSW, Driver’s License
