Make a Real Impact: As a Physiotherapist Aide, your work will directly enhance the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients. By providing compassionate care and support, you will help our clients maintain their independence and improve their overall well-being. Your dedication will bring comfort, joy, and a sense of security to those in your care, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day.

We are seeking a passionate Physiotherapist Aide to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, 12 hours per week. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team to enhance the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting changes, and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to deliver the best care.
• Assist with individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, documenting accordingly and deferring to the physiotherapist if there are changes in a client's presentation.
• Ensure the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by preparing treatment areas and, in some cases, transporting clients to treatment areas.
• Maintain equipment by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
• Assist with administration, cover reception as needed, and help maintain the hydrotherapy pool.

About You:

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
• Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
• A passion for aged care and a desire to learn more about physiotherapy at Anglicare.
