By providing compassionate care and support, you will help our clients maintain their independence and improve their overall well-being. Your dedication will bring comfort, joy, and a sense of security to those in your care, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day.

We are seeking a passionate Physiotherapist Aide to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, 12 hours per week. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team to enhance the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting changes, and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver the best care.
  • Assist with individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, documenting accordingly and deferring to the physiotherapist if there are changes in a client's presentation.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by preparing treatment areas and, in some cases, transporting clients to treatment areas.
  • Maintain equipment by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
  • Assist with administration, cover reception as needed, and help maintain the hydrotherapy pool.

About You:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
  • Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
  • A passion for aged care and a desire to learn more about physiotherapy at Anglicare.
