If this sounds like you, BreastScreen Victoria (BSV) is looking for a motivated and innovative engagement professional to join our Communications and Client Engagement (C+CE) team. This opportunity is offered on a part-time (0.6 FTE) ongoing basis, with flexibility around days of work.

The Consumer Engagement Coordinator will support consumers to share their stories and expertise and ensures their voices are heard at both a decision making and service implementation level.

As the Consumer Engagement Coordinator, there is a focus on the maintenance and coordination of relevant BSV advisory groups.

In this role you will also manage the Consumer Engagement Framework and integrate a Consumer Engagement Strategy across BreastScreen Victoria Services, which will ensure improved experiences and health outcomes for all our clients.

The work you will do, will contribute to reducing the impact of breast cancer and save lives through early detection.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A tertiary degree in Public Health or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience within similar roles.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, with a deep understanding of the importance of evaluating the consumer voices to influence change.
  • Demonstrated ability to use databases and experience gathering and analysing data and preparing reports.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with consumers.
