You will be joining us to:

Drive best practice and collaboration within the Disability Employment Services team. This is a brand new role created to ensure continuous improvement and the quality servicing of customers to promote performance. You will:

• Providing specialist expertise to DES employees including supporting Managers with operations.
• Provide coaching, guidance and advice of best practice to employees, including identifying performance opportunities.
• Provide the team with DES updates relevant to their role and foster Community of Practices to increase information and knowledge sharing.
• Drive and manage internal and external initiatives and projects.
• Ensure quality customer servicing by identifying community links relevant to sites.
• Address and report on trends, risks, and solutions.
• Undertake service audits and analysis to ensure the quality of service being provided to customers, using this information to formulate development options or opportunities.
• Provide specific tailored onboarding and training for new employees to ensure consistent expectation of service delivery.

About you

You will have experience working with people with disabilities and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life. You genuinely care about the work you do and are committed to implementing and driving best practice. Experience in the disability services industry is preferred, however not essential. The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to coach and lead employees to deliver on the DES program objectives including quality servicing and employment outcomes
• Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
• High level communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Experience analysing and interpreting employment data
• Knowledge of relevant Statutory and contractual requirements
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Or willing to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain)
• Criminal Record Check (Or willing to obtain)
• Immunisation status clearance (including COVID19 Certificate or proof of medical exemption)
