We are seeking a Rostering Officer for a contract, length determined by negotiation during the interview process. 

About The Role

In conjunction with the House Managers, the Rostering Officer oversees the rostering functions, by managing and creating rostering templates for SIL houses, individual rosters, rolling over employee rosters where employees are given 4 weeks-notice of permanent shifts and manage changes daily. Covering sick calls and leave may be required when house staff are unable to fill shifts. This position requires basic use of electronic rostering systems and databases.

  • Experience in rostering desirable but not essential
  • High level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level problems solving skills
  • Well-developed capacity to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail
  • Experience in using Employment Hero, or relevant software systems
  • Knowledge or exposure to the Disability Sector will be highly regarded, but not essential
  • Have strong values and looking to make a difference in the lives of those living with a disability in Central Australia
  • Must have or be able to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
