About the role

Our Roster Coordinator will be working closely with our Disability Services Team, to ensure a reliable and consistent service to our participants. You will be creating and maintaining rosters and using your in-depth knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services award to ensure employees are able to provide high quality care within the guidelines of the award

This is as a Permanent Full-time position, working 2 days per week from home and 3 days per week from our Head Office in Pennant Hills.

Duties

  • Developing and maintaining rosters to ensure appropriate levels of staffing to meet participant needs.
  • Actively maintaining daily roster variations, including acting as the primary contact for staff cancellations and availability.
  • Proactively communicating with our casual employees to fill vacant shifts and to maintain required staffing levels and mix.
  • Allocating shifts in alignment with employees contracted hours.
  • Working closely with all the Disability Futures Team to ensure that shifts are filled, changes are communicated to the appropriate parties with minimum disruption to clients and ensuring cost effectiveness to the organisation.
  • Participating in ongoing training of new employees in the rostering system.
  • Ensuring all changes and cancellations are actively reflected and communicated for payroll.

Requirements

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence and access to your own insured vehicle.
  • Ability to complete a National Police Check.

Highly Desirable

  • Use of rostering software such as CareLink and Human Force and /or extensive rostering experience.
  • Knowledge of Person-Centred Approach and the NDIS Quality Safeguarding Standards.
  • Relevant qualifications and/ or extensive relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Able to meet deadlines while matching client needs with employee skills.
