Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre (CCCWHC) is seeking a woman to fill the position of Client Services Manager – Counselling and Case Management. The role is permanent part-time 28 hours a week. Primary location is our Wyoming Centre.

Are you passionate about contributing to the well-being, support and empowerment of women on the Central Coast? Do you have experience leading counselling and case management teams, as well as programming and implementing group programs?

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the CEO, this leadership role is centred on providing strong leadership to the CCCWHC counselling team consisting of counsellors, group facilitators, case managers and volunteers, while also overseeing the organisational group program. A crucial aspect of the role involves managing the assessment and referral processes at the Wyoming Centre and ensuring that counselling, assessment and referral procedures are applied across all three centres, fostering consistency and best practice across the organisation.

Integral to the role is the smooth operation of counselling and group services, aimed at delivering effective support to women accessing our services and programs. Specifically, the role includes oversight of the short-term program designed for counselling and case management services specifically related to sexual/domestic and family violence (SDFV).

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re an experienced leader and community worker with at least 5 years of frontline work – experience working with women on issues including relationships, self-esteem or with family or domestic violence services is highly desirable.
  • You’ll have Counselling, Social Work or Community Services qualifications, or similar, and management or leadership experience and training.
  • You’ll embrace a coaching management style to build and develop your team’s skills and support systems.
  • You are highly organised and feel confident overseeing and coordinating a busy assessment and referral, counselling and group program division.
  • You are skilled in evaluating services and programs and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • You are confident in making decisions and leading actions on service provision, and compliance matters, and best practices regarding counselling, case management and models of care.
