ABOUT CERES VENUES & EVENTS
At CERES, we offer quality venue hire and catering across our stunning 10-acre site in East Brunswick. From conferences to community events, we support a wide variety of gatherings with sustainable hospitality and event management practices. We are committed to creating lasting connections while minimising our environmental impact.
We’re seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Venues and Events Coordinator to join our team – bring your creativity and organisation skills to CERES!
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY:
- Coordinating venue hire activities, from client management to catering and staffing.
- Ensuring smooth, high-quality event delivery, both internally and for external clients.
- Managing venue bookings, compliance, and promotional activities.
- Supervising and supporting staff, clients, and external suppliers.
- Maintaining internal systems for venue booking and financial tracking.
- Ensuring event safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service.
- Contributing to the growth and success of CERES events and the broader community.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
- Proven experience in venue and event management, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with CRM platforms and booking systems.
- Knowledge of risk management and legislation for events (a plus!).
- Passion for sustainable and community-focused events.
