As the peak body for the community legal sector in WA, Community Legal WA is charged with building capacity and expertise, and promoting effectiveness and efficiency, across our 26 member centres. Through law reform campaigns, advocacy, projects, operational support and community and legal professional education, our staff contribute to a variety of human rights and social justice projects.
The Project Manager is a new fixed term position that will lead an exciting new initiative, the Family and Domestic Violence Legal Health Check Project. This project will work with community legal centres and community service organisations supporting women experiencing family and domestic violence across the state to:
This is a strategically significant project for CLWA which will require a high level of competence across attention to detail, project methodology and stakeholder engagement.
This position will lead the project, developing and implementing project methodology and evaluation and managing the contribution of other team members. With excellent communication skills, you will have a strong focus on building relationships and collaboration with member CLCs and community service organisations and will convene and facilitate the Project Reference Group.
This position is based in our Perth office, with some travel around WA.
Benefits include flexible hours and generous salary packaging. This position part-time is ideally 0.8 FTE although 0.6 FTE will be considered.
Salary: SACS Award level 8.1
