About the role

Working with a fantastic team, this position supports the administration of a range of human resource functions; including recruitment & selection, onboarding, compliance and employment offers. Supported by HR Business Partners, the role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a range of employee/industrial relations processes. Your duties will include:

  • Process people operations documentation, including Employment contracts, Employment Variation Forms and administering a range of other daily processes
  • Provide advice to line managers and staff within job scope on issues including recruitment, remuneration policies, employment conditions, administration requirements and legislative compliance and escalating issues as required
  • Provide effective and comprehensive advice on HR matters including interpretations of legislation, awards, agreements and policies to staff and management
  • Ensure the position descriptions are updated, maintained, and filed in a consistent and timely manner

Our ideal candidate:

  • Qualifications in Human Resources or relevant discipline is preferred
  • Experience in either a HR Administrator or Officer role
  • Knowledge of industrial relations legislation and Award/Agreement Interpretations
  • Problem-solving skills

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses).
