About the role

Congress requires a knowledgeable Aboriginal female with excellent verbal, and written communication skills to fill the key leadership position of Aboriginal Cultural Advisor (Female).

Based at the Alukura Women's Health and Maternity Specialty Service, the Aboriginal Cultural Advisor uses their intimate cultural and social knowledge to provide advice, mentoring and education to staff and management across all Congress services and programs. This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of cultural safety, responsiveness and knowledge to foster a strong organisational culture, and optimise health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal people working in collaboration with the Male Aboriginal Cultural Advisor.
