Connect Children and Families (Connect) is a not-for-profit organisation serving communities in the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury, and Western Sydney. Together we support children's and families' learning, safety, and wellbeing.

We do this through supporting families to access services that respond to their needs, creating pathways both across our services, and to other community agencies that can support them.

Our services are available to children and families in their homes, in early childhood education centres and pre-schools, in community spaces and schools, and other family-centered services.

We have a great opportunity for a hard-working Cleaner to join our dedicated team. This position is open for an immediate start and will be 3 days a week for 3 hours each day. Additionally, we have an identical position available at our Mount Victoria center, and we're flexible to combine hours if needed.

The successful candidate would be responsible for providing a safe and hygienic environment for our children to learn and play.

The Key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Clean and sanitise all areas of the Centre, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

• Mop, vacuum floors, clean windows, dust, manage waste, and use suitable cloths to prevent cross-contamination.

• Ensure safe storage and proper use of cleaning agents.

• Empty trash, and recycling bins and put bins out for collection

• Notify management of any maintenance issues, injuries, or accidents.

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

To be considered for this role you will be required to have or obtain the following:

• Some cleaning experience.
• Police Check
• Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
