About The Role

As our new Corporate Services Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence that underpins our mission. This is an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team and take ownership of the engine room that powers our impact in perinatal mental health.

Working closely with our CEO, you'll drive operational efficiency across our entire team, allowing our leadership to focus on strategic growth and innovation.

You'll oversee four key areas that are crucial to our success:

  • Financial Management: Leading all aspects of our financial management, from day-to-day operations to financial reporting, grant management, and corporate fundraising initiatives
  • People & Culture: Building and nurturing our amazing team through strategic HR management, including recruitment, professional development and enhancing our supportive, vibrant culture
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensuring we maintain the highest standards of compliance while supporting our Board of Directors and managing key stakeholder relationships
  • Operational Excellence: Spearheading the project management of new initiatives, overseeing critical business systems, and driving continuous improvement across all operational functions

This is more than just an operational role - you'll be a key change maker who helps translate our vision into reality, ensuring our organisation can maximise its positive impact on families in Australia and beyond.

More about YOU

You're an experienced operational manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced purpose-driven environment. With at least 5 years of experience ideally in a Not For Profit operations or corporate services role, you understand what it takes to keep a growing organisation running smoothly.

You'll bring:

  • Strong financial acumen, particularly in NFP accounting, grant management, and budget oversight
  • Deep understanding of NFP governance and compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholder relationships, including government bodies, partner organisations and the COPE Board of Directors

Your working style is what sets you apart. You're:

  • A natural organiser who can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Proactive in finding solutions and improving processes
  • Known for your attention to detail, particularly when it comes to compliance and reporting
  • Energetic and positive in your approach, bringing a can-do attitude to challenges
  • Adaptable and resilient - you understand that in a growing NFP, resources might be limited but impact is high

You're technically proficient across a range of software platforms including Xero, Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspaces and other essentials for this role.

Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to use your operational expertise to support an organisation that's making a real difference in mental health care.
