Using a throughcare model you will provide a continuum of support to address the complex and diverse needs of women who have experienced involvement with the criminal justice system. Your usual work hours will be Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours work, as required.

Why work for us?

CRC is committed to supporting people who have been impacted by the criminal justice system. We work with some of the state’s most stigmatised and marginalised people, and we provide them with the help they need. While our work can sometimes be challenging, the rewards are significant.

To join us, you’ll need:

  • To identify as female
  • Experience and skills in the provision of trauma-informed care
  • Knowledge and experience of working with women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with complex needs including mental illness, cognitive impairment, AOD substance misuse/recovery, and challenging behaviours
  • A current NSW Driver Licence
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check (please note, a criminal record is not a barrier to being considered for a role with CRC)
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and knowledge of issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and other diverse communities
  • Knowledge and skills relating to current child protection issues and legislation
  • The unrestricted right to work in Australia
