As a Case Manager with our Domestic Violence After Hours Service (DVAHS) you will be responsible for and committed to delivering person centred, strength based case management services within a Human Rights framework.
The Case Manager works directly with women and children who are experiencing domestic and family violence to provide support to access services including safe accommodation, emergency relief and emotional support as directed by the individual and often include making effective referrals to other services.
The DVAHS service operates during the day and into the evening. The Case Management team works across a 24/7 on call roster to women who are escaping DFV out of normal business hours across 5 LGA’s in Western Sydney and supports the community by developing and maintaining strong networks across the areas.
The Case manager works collaboratively within a team environment and across the DVSM community.
You are passionate about improving social and service responses to Domestic and family violence, demonstrating empathy, flexibility and responsiveness. Your personal values are well aligned to those of DVSM and you are committed to contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
