Senator Faruqi is seeking a Communications and Digital Content Adviser to join her small, highly collaborative team. The team is committed to being a radical voice in politics, pushing boundaries and working closely with grassroots movements in the fight for racial, social and environmental justice.

Senator Faruqi is the Deputy Leader of the Australian Greens and maintains the portfolio responsibility for higher education, anti-racism, animal welfare, international aid and global justice, climate adaptation and resilience, and the Republic.

The Adviser will ensure the work of Senator Faruqi and the Greens is communicated to the community and target audiences. They will produce and manage social media content (including video); lead on digital engagement; and strategise and execute online campaigns across Senator Faruqi’s portfolios.

They will be working closely with the part-time Social Media and Content Producer, Community Organiser, and Media Advisor. This role requires a broad set of skills, the ability to learn quickly and the drive to discover creative ways to deliver Senator Faruqi’s and the Greens’ message to audiences.
