What you’ll be doing

As a member of HR's Learning and Development team, the Learning Solutions Lead is responsible for overseeing the team's learning systems and learning support functions in addition to strategically and practically assisting the organisation's wider adoption of learning and development opportunities, approaches, and solutions.

In this varied role your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective and supportive line management to the LMS Administrator/Learning Coordinator and their work.
  • Leading and overseeing the ongoing utilisation and optimisation of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Supporting the Learning and Development Manager in the development, implementation and embedding of a comprehensive and strategically aligned learning and development model/framework/strategy across EACH.
  • Partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to address changes in the sector and/or organisation, as well as to meet professional and legal requirements; assisting leaders and SME's to plan responsive, realistic, compliant, effective and/or relevant learning solutions to support changes.
  • Consulting and partnering with key stakeholders to continuously enhance learner experiences at EACH.
  • Contributing to the creation, sourcing and curation of a wide variety of learning assets.

** Please note that this is not a Trainer position and there will not be much need for you to facilitate learning. The role acts more as an internal consultant who will assist in thinking through solutions. 

Who we’re looking for

You might be the ideal candidate if you're a seasoned learning solutions specialist with great problem-solving and communication abilities, a human centred approach, an ability to think outside the box, strong attention to detail, and solid IT and systems navigation skills!

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or solutions focused role within learning and development.
  • Strong IT/systems skills and demonstrable experience working with Learning Management Systems.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience in the not for profit or health sector would be well regarded but not essential.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools and learning design well regarded.
